Affusion Skin Care is a new cosmetic and skin care company which offers products free of parabens, phthalates, talc, and known toxins. (If you’re new to the natural beauty world, this is a rare find in skin care!) Plus, Affusion is approved by the Feingold Association, an organization that supports the theory of synthetic ingredients contributing to ADD and ADHD.
We’ll be doing reader-panel trials with the products, and will let you know how they perform. (The early word is that the Herbal Fruit Infused Facial Cleanser smells good enough to eat!)
If you want to try the products right away, visit Affusion at:

By far the most frequent question I get from media and readers is the use of honey to treat blemishes. While there is much more detail in the book, I can tell you that honey is a favorite all natural treatment for occasional blemishes. (If you struggle with acne, I’d encourage you to please see a dermatologist! Many conditions can cause acne, and you want a proper diagnosis.)
We’re going to be doing some reader-panel experiments this month with a special brand of honey called Manuka. You may have heard about it in the news, as it is being used in hospitals for wound care and to to treat infections. I’ll post all the background info on the product, including where to buy it, and what our reader panel thought of their results.
Until then, keep those comments coming!
